Mr. Anastasiou was born in Limassol, Cyprus. He graduated from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1977. He was admitted in the Cyprus Bar Association in 1979. Mr. Anastasiou speaks fluently Greek and English.

Mr. Anastasiou has been practicing as an advocate in Cyprus for over 40 years. He has an extensive experience on litigation and out-of-court settlements. Mr. Anastasiou’s practice covers a wide range of areas on disputes that arise from cases of corporations, personal injury, contracts, employment, criminal offences and property transactions. He is widely recognised for his efficient handling of personal injury cases, insurance matters and corporations’ disputes.

Mr. Anastasiou served as member of the Independent Authority for the Investigation of Allegations and Complaints Against the Police of Cyprus from 2008 until 2016.
