Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association (mandatory)
- LLB Law degree from a recognized institution
- 2–3 years of post-qualification legal experience in litigation
- Solid understanding of civil and criminal litigation procedures and rules
- Experience in court appearances and representing clients before various courts
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, legal documents, and court submissions
- Strong legal research and case analysis skills
- Familiarity with the Cyprus i-Justice system and electronic court filing processes
Additional Qualifications (Considered an Advantage):
- LLM
- Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) or Legal Practice Course (LPC)
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients before District and Supreme Courts in civil and criminal cases
- Draft court applications, legal opinions, pleadings, and procedural documents
- Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal agreements
- Assist with corporate law matters, including company formation and regulatory compliance
- Provide support on immigration services, such as residency and permit applications
- Be involved in property and real estate transactions, including due diligence, contract drafting, and land registry processes
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- High level of professional responsibility, ethics, and discretion
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic and diverse legal environment
